Cement Clinker Grinding Process
Cement clinker grinding can be either processed in open circuit or closed circuit. In an open circuit system, the feed rate of clinker materials is adjusted to achieve the desired fineness of the discharging product. In a closed circuit system, coarse particles are separated from the finer product and returned for further grinding.The total throughput is higher and hence the mill discharging material is coarser. Unlike the open circuit mill, material coming from the mill goes to an air separator from where the finer materials are the product and the rejects are returned to the mill.
Clinker Processing Application
The materials clinker, limestone, moist slag etc. are fed to the clinker grinding plant. The grinding additives gypsum, kiln filter dust and fly ash are directly fed to the ball mill which will be equipped with a new high efficiency separator with a cage diameter of 2750 mm. The roller press with a maximal throughput rate of 600t/h is equipped with variable speed drives for producing the different cement types.
